When your thoughts race, your senses can bring you back. The 5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique is simple. Name things you can see, touch, hear, smell, and taste. It doesn’t solve everything, but it helps your mind slow down. It reminds your body that you’re here. Safe enough for now. You don’t need to fix everything in one moment. You just need to come back to yourself, even a little.
