
March is Women’s Month. Before the loud celebrations and highlight reels, we want to begin quietly. With gratitude. With reflection. With recognition of women whose strength does not always trend. This issue is for the women who serve, build, heal, and carry. Sometimes loudly. Often quietly.

Dr. Fe del Mundo founded the first pediatric hospital in the Philippines and devoted nearly eight decades to caring for Filipino children. She became the first female student at Harvard Medical School in 1936. She sold her own home to build a children’s hospital. She invented a bamboo incubator for rural villages without electricity. Her legacy reminds us that strength can look like quiet, steady care.
