Corit Alejandro turned her love for crafts into a small family business that would later support Filipino artisans and handmade creativity for decades. Even the name carries family at its heart: Pa-Pe-Mel-Ro-Ti comes from the names of her children Peggy, Robert, Corit, Tina, Patsy, and Meldy.
